DescriptionPosition Title:KVCC Business Administration Adjunct Instructor
Salary Range: Salaryand benefitscommensuratewith the Agreement between the Maine Community College System and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Bargaining Unit.
Responsibilities:
Required to teach both in-person and online classes. Possible fall classes include:
- BUS 101 Principles of Business
- BUS 218 Small Business Entrepreneurship
- CPT 115 Technology for Business
- ECO 132 Personal Finance and Investing
In-person courses require daytime availability; online courses require some virtual meetings in the evenings. The successful candidates will be available for both modalities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA or MS in related field required
- MOS certification preferred for CPT 115.
- 3-5 years teaching experience preferred
- 3-5 years relevant industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with Brightspace learning management system (LMS) desired
Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Experience teaching in a community college setting or with adult/non-traditional students
- Strong written verbal and technological skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Teams for ALL courses
- Ability to teach effectively across in-person and online modalities using instructional approaches that support students with varied backgrounds and learning preferences
