About the role:

This role will suit a confident litigation lawyer who enjoys complex matters client contact and working closely with senior practitioners.

You will work directly with one of the firms Sydney-based Partners across a broad mix of equity estates succession trustee and litigation matters. The role offers meaningful responsibility direct client exposure and the opportunity to build genuine expertise in a fast-growing area of litigation.

The work will include:

  • Litigation relating to contested wills and estates
  • Acting on complex equity claims involving trusts
  • Handling claims involving elder abuse trustees and estate-related disputes
  • Drafting court documents pleadings affidavits and evidence
  • Supporting litigation strategy across complex disputes and contested estate matters
  • Liaising directly with clients counsel experts and other key stakeholders
  • Assisting with tax superannuation and structuring issues as they arise

The ideal candidate:

  • 57 years PQE in litigation estates succession or a related disputes area
  • strong experience in drafting pleadings affidavits correspondence and court documents
  • an interest in trusts companies estates and complex structures
  • confidence managing matters with increasing autonomy
  • strong client communication skills
  • high attention to detail
  • a personable reliable and organised approach

Experience in trusts and estates litigation would be highly regarded although lawyers from related areas such as insolvency commercial litigation or complex disputes are also welcome to apply.
