Radiation Therapist Travel Contract

Location: Rochester New York
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 5x8 Hours
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:30 PM

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment with a leading oncology and cancer treatment center in Rochester NY. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in radiation oncology excellent patient care skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while operating advanced radiation therapy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and treatment plans
• Operate advanced radiation therapy equipment including Ethos and/or Varian systems
• Perform tumor localization and imaging procedures including CBCT kV and mV imaging
• Prepare custom molds shields wedges and compensation filters for patient treatments
• Support IMRT treatment delivery and assist with radiation dose calculations
• Maintain radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists physicists dosimetrists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Accurately document patient care and treatment information in Epic EMR
• Float to additional radiation oncology locations as required

Requirements

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist Therapy License required
• ARRT(T) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with Ethos or Varian equipment preferred
• Background in Adult Acute Care and Oncology settings required
• Strong ability to work independently in a high-volume clinical setting
