We are seeking aPayroll & HR Supportprofessional to work closely with both ourFinance and Human Resources divisions. In this role you will play a key part in supporting accurate and timely weekly payroll processing for hourly employees while also contributing to essential HR functions across the employee lifecycle.

About the Role

This position blendspayroll administration and timekeepingwithhandson HR support offering exposure to both Finance and HR operations. It is ideal for someone who enjoys variety responsibility and continuous learning.

You will be trusted with sensitive information relied upon for accuracy and attention to detail and valued for the support you provide to employees Finance and HR leadership.

Location:North Vancouver (VanPile Office)

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Timekeeping Support

  • Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of employee data including new hires terminations wage adjustments and status changes.
  • Generate review and audit time reports to ensure compliance with company policies union agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct daily audits to verify the accuracy of time data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Produce weekly hours reports using theAL Mobile timetracking system.
  • Provide support and training to employees on the use of AL Mobile.
  • Track and resolve payrollrelated inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive payroll information.

HR Support

  • Assist with job postings interview scheduling and candidate communications.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records both electronic and hard copy.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding including orientation coordination and exit documentation.
  • Assist with HR reporting data tracking and audits as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team including filing Employment letters data entry and calendar coordination.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of employment standards legislation.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Acumatica Collage or similar systems considered an asset).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadlinedriven environment.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience with automated timetracking systems preferablyAL Mobile.
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational prioritization and timemanagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • High standards of personal professional and ethical conduct.
  • A proactive collaborative and resultsoriented approach.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily officebased with interaction across multiple departments.
  • Occasional peak deadlines aligned with payroll and reporting cycles.
  • May require coordination across multiple projects or business units.
