The Digital Technology Program Management Office is currently searching for a seasoned professional in Program Management to support Collins Digital in Portfolio Shaping activities.

The Program Manager role will lead the Collins Digital side of the Portfolio Shaping activities and will work with a cross functional organization to execute the Portfolio Shaping Program Manager is responsible for the overall Collins Digital execution on the project maintaining a collaborative relationship with Collins/buyer teams and schedule/budget adherence for the Digital side of the program.

**This is a hybrid-based position at one of Collins major facilities. **

What YOU will do:

  • Overall lead for Collins Digital Portfolio Shaping programs with leading teams comprised of Collins indirect reporting consisting of Collins DT leads/teams RTX Enterprise Services and consulting support.

  • Manage and drive our consulting relationship with our consulting partners on the support of the Collins DT Portfolio Shaping activities.

  • Represent Collins DT on the cross functional business team executing the Portfolio Shaping effort.

  • Drive program execution to the expectations of the Collins Management System; including implementation of management decision gates to validate project goals scope budget schedule and to ensure effective program implementation.

  • Ensure effective execution for the overall program. Drive processes and meeting cadences for scope management risk and opportunity management financial reporting technical reviews issue escalation and stakeholder communications across the program.

  • Provide periodic updates and reporting to executive leadership.

  • Effective stakeholder communications.

  • Develop and maintain a productive/collaborative relationship with the projects stakeholders including the buyer the Collins corporate development/legal and the business teams

  • You may be the right leader for this job if:

  • Have experience partnering with a variety of customers stakeholders and teams to develop and deliver complex systems and services.

  • Have experience complex programs including program financials risk and opportunity management schedule and scope management and other project management fundamentals.

  • Collaborate effectively to build teams. Build trust and demonstrate accountability to customers stakeholders and staff.

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with a wide variety of stakeholders including the buying company and RTX/Collins executive leadership

  • Are a voracious learner and disciplined problem solver who perseveres through technical and organizational challenges to deliver productive change and inspire teams to do the same.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position(U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

  • Demonstrated history of success in multiple positions of increasing scope and responsibility with a significant duration of experience and expertise spanning qualifications of this role

  • This position can be remote or in person at a Collins location

  • Ability to travel up to 30% including international travel passport is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Demonstrated program management experience

  • Experience with presentation skills to executive leadership

  • Experience with Collins finance activities

  • Experience working Portfolio Shaping activities

  • Experience with relationship management including an external customer

  • Experience with program management systems including manpower planning program scheduling cost controls and earned value management

  • Experience working in a government and/or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in operations and production flow management including supply chain oversight

  • Knowledge of aerospace contracts

  • Experience with proposal preparation and customer negotiations preparation

  • Knowledge of aerospace policies procedures and system requirements including quality manufacturing and program management

The salary range for this role is 157200 USD - 298800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
