Account Executive

Exa is building a search engine from scratch to serve every AI agent. We build massive-scale infrastructure to crawl the web train state-of-the-art embedding models to process it and design super high performant vector databases in rust to search over it. If you like compute we also own a $5M H200 GPU cluster (and soon 5xing that) and regularly spin up batchjobs with tens of thousands of machines.

We recently raised an $85M Series B from Benchmark and we are rapidly building the most intelligent search engine in history. Were high agency low-ego and united by the feeling that this is one of the last problems worth getting right.

Now were looking for an Account Executive to help us bring Exa to new verticals.

About the Role

As an Account Executive at Exa you will work with customers who need speed intelligence and accuracy in their workflows. Youll take full ownership of dealsprospecting running demos negotiating and closing.

What Youll Do

• Own the entire sales cyclefrom first touch to close

• Run product demos tailored to customer asks & unique use cases

• Develop and execute strategies to land high-value customers

• Work closely with SDRs to keep the pipeline strong and moving

• Negotiate contracts hit targets and drive revenue growth

Who You Are

• 2 years in a sales role ideally in SaaS or AI/tech products

• Experience managing a full sales cycle from lead generation to close

• Strong communication skillsyou can tell a great story and sell a vision

• A consultative approachhelp customers see the business value not just the features

• A competitive edgeyoure driven persistent and love closing deals

• Comfort in a fast-moving high-growth startup environment
