Science Teaching Role in an Academy School
An academy school in Walsall is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher to join its department from September. This is a full-time role within a school that is committed to raising attainment improving outcomes and delivering high-quality science education.

About the Role
You will teach Science across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging lessons that develop students scientific understanding analytical thinking and investigative skills.
The role includes both theoretical teaching and practical laboratory work helping students build confidence in experimentation and scientific reasoning.
You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Science examinations supporting them in developing strong subject knowledge and exam technique.
You will work collaboratively within the department to maintain high standards of teaching and assessment.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Science across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Deliver lessons covering Biology Chemistry and Physics
Plan and supervise practical laboratory activities
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Science examinations
Assess student work and provide structured feedback
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Maintain safe laboratory environments
Contribute to departmental planning and STEM enrichment activities

Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching KS5 Science
Experience preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
