POSITION OVERVIEW
The Network Tools Platform Engineer is responsible for designing deploying maintaining and optimizing the platforms used to monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure. This role supports operations by integrating network telemetry observability and automation solutions to ensure a reliable and scalable environment.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design implement and maintain network monitoring and management tools platforms.
- Administer tools such as SolarWinds Splunk Nagios and LiveNX.
- Develop custom integrations dashboards and APIs between network tools and IT systems.
- Build automation workflows for network provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Python.
- Manage data ingestion pipelines for logs SNMP traps syslogs and streaming telemetry.
- Collaborate with network operations and security teams to define monitoring and alerting standards.
