PC&IS Engineer
Role Summary We are looking for a Power Controls and Information Systems (PC&IS) Engineer to drive innovation in electrical design automation programming and digitization of robotic and information systems. This role will lead process improvements in safety material utilization and cost efficiency while owning the development of ICS PLCs and HMIs. The engineer will play a key role in manufacturing line controls ensuring compliance with safety standards and fostering collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities -
Develop and innovate electrical design programming and digitization for automated and robotic systems.

Lead process improvements focused on material utilization safety and cost reduction.

Own and build Industrial Control Systems (ICS) PLCs and HMIs.

Provide leadership in manufacturing line and machine controls.
-
Communicate effectively with strong written and verbal skills.
-
Apply expertise in power systems computing networking instrumentation vision systems and robotics.
-
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and industry best practices.
Technical Skills Must Have:

3 years in manufacturing environment within controls and automation
-
Initiative and self-direction with strong problem-solving skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
-
HMI development (FactoryTalk View Studio Wonderware)
-
PLC programming (ControlLogix)
-
Familiarity with IT/Networking and database applications
-
Ability to read electrical schematics
-
Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement systems for process control

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Experience with industrial networks and safety standards

Hands-on experience with 480/277VAC 3-phase 208/120VAC 3-phase 24VDC 4-20ma 0-5V 0-10V control circuits

Knowledge of OSHA 1910 NFPA 70 70E 79 safety standards

Ability to troubleshoot and maintain networking platforms and industrial control software (DeviceNet ControlNet Remote I/O DH DH485 EthernetIP)
