Job Summary

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Technical Skills
- Deep expertise in Azure data services (Databricks ADLS ADF Event Hub/Service Bus).
- Strong architectural background in Hadoop/Cloudera ecosystems (HDFS Spark Hive/Impala Ranger/Sentry).
- Hybrid connectivity design including ExpressRoute/VPN networking and security hardening.
- Experience with identity RBAC secrets/keys and Zero-Trust principles.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks (Purview) DQ lineage schema evolution.
- Skilled in designing scalable and distributed batch/streaming architectures.
- FinOps practices for compute/storage cost optimization.
- Ability to create reference architectures standards and blueprint documentation.
Functional Skills
- Ability to mentor engineering teams and lead design reviews.
- Strong collaboration skills with PMs compliance business and engineering stakeholders.
- Ability to define roadmaps migration strategies and hybrid modernization blueprints.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for leadership alignment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end architecture of hybrid big-data platforms.
- Establish security models integration patterns and governance standards.
- Review engineering designs and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with PMs and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet regulatory and business goals.
- Drive modernization strategy migration planning and stepwise platform evolution.
- Oversee performance reliability DR strategy and cost-optimized cloud adoption.
