Senior Front-End Engineer (React Foundry)

Contract Duration: 6 Months
Location: Oakland CA (100% Remote)

About the Role

STAFFXPERT is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join the WiRE platform team supporting wildfire mitigation and compliance reporting systems.

The WiRE platform is built on Palantir Foundry and provides trusted auditable data for internal reporting and regulatory submissions (OEIS / WMP).

This role focuses on building scalable data-driven React applications tightly integrated with Foundry datasets and ontology objects to support compliance auditability and enterprise reporting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Build and maintain React TypeScript applications within the Foundry platform

• Develop reusable UI components for:

  • Data exploration and drill-down workflows

  • Data validation interfaces

  • Data extraction and submission flows

• Optimize frontend performance for large-scale datasets

Data Integration

• Integrate frontend applications with Palantir Foundry Ontology using SDKs/APIs

• Consume structured datasets and align UI components with evolving schemas

• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and maintain data contracts/interfaces

• Work with ontology-based and metadata-driven systems

Compliance & Audit-Focused UI

• Design audit-ready interfaces supporting traceability and data transparency

• Ensure regulatory alignment for OEIS and WMP reporting requirements

• Maintain clean separation of UI and backend business logic

• Support compliance-driven workflows and enterprise reporting standards

Validation & Submission Workflows

• Develop file upload and schema validation workflows

• Implement real-time validation feedback with detailed error/pass-fail logs

• Support scalable data validation and quality frameworks

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Partner with:

  • Data Engineers

  • Product Managers

  • PMO Stakeholders

  • SME Teams

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including:

  • Sprint planning

  • Backlog refinement

  • Sprint delivery

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with React in enterprise applications

• Proficiency in TypeScript

• Experience building API-integrated data-driven frontend applications

• Strong understanding of:

  • Data modeling concepts

  • Structured datasets and schemas

  • Frontend performance optimization for large datasets

• Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise data platforms

• Experience integrating applications with SDKs/APIs for structured data access

• Experience working with ontology-based or metadata-driven systems

• Exposure to compliance audit or regulated environments

• Experience with:

  • Data validation frameworks

  • Data quality workflows

  • Enterprise internal tools/platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting compliance or regulatory reporting systems

• Prior experience working in large enterprise environments

• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
