• Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs in compliance with Spanish and EU regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and ensure effective preventive measures are in place.
• Provide EHS training and awareness programs to all employees fostering a strong safety culture.
• Monitor environmental performance manage waste and promote sustainable practices.
• Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders on all EHS-related matters.

All right all right that was intriguing wasnt it Now in order to fit in this role and be happy for a long time your ideal background should look a lot like this:

• A university degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) in an EHS management role preferably within the renewable energy or industrial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish EHS legislation and international standards (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (C1 level for both).
