The Job
This position exists to support the Procure to Pay (PTP) workstream of Warner Bros. Discovery WBD. This person will have overall responsibility for performing PTP functions involved in maintaining PTP processes ensuring Sox compliance maintaining a robust controls environment providing updates/reporting of overall Procure to Pay Operations.
The Daily
- Deliver world class / proactive customer service to internal and external stakeholders while adhering to company policies and procedure
- Support PTP processes to ensure operational success (i.e. vendor creation is timely invoices match to POs correctly invoices route to the appropriate coders etc.)
- Review PCard statement submissions for compliance
- Monitor and reconcile aging PTP activity including interfacing applications
- Support integration and onboarding of new acquisitions into Warner Bros. Discovery processes and systems
- Support PTP system changes improvements and new company codes created with testing as required and support new business projects acquisitions and integrations where needed
- Serve as a subject matter expert in PTP processes & technologies (SAP CRM Ariba PeopleSoft Oracle OpenText VIM SAP ECC) for non-content spend.
- Provide timely and high-quality support to internal users (mainly US stakeholders) via ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
- Manage and support corporate card (PCard) processes including issue resolution validations and escalations
- Support users in expense management tools (e.g. Concur) including submission validation and troubleshooting
- Monitor and respond to tickets within SLA ensuring clear communication and follow-ups
- Investigate and resolve card-related issues (blocked cards declined transactions incorrect charges etc.)
- Interact with banking platforms to review transactions balances and payment status
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex cases and escalations
The Essentials
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is preferred Experience in Peoplesoft Financials and SAP is preferred
- Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferred
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook Word PowerPoint)
- Should have a complete understanding of the PTP process
- Strong listening verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently creatively and efficiently
- Proven track record in meeting deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced English- Ability to handle written communication and basic calls with US stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset High customer service orientation
- Experience using ticketing systems
- Experience or exposure to: Corporate cards (PCard) Expense tools (Concur preferred) Banking platforms
The Nice to Haves
- SAP or Oracle experience
- Previous experience in shared services / business operating centers
