Key Responsibilities

65% WalmartDepartment stores & Clubsfocus

• Consistentlyidentifyinventory opportunities to improve profitability productivity and drive topline sales

• Create andmaintainmonthlyproductionforecastsandretail salesladders for annual replenishmentand seasonal fashionprogramsutilizingspace and rackmodular planningandoptimizingproductiveinventorylevels

• Presents scenario-driven strategy proposals and hindsight to key stakeholders foroptimalcollaborative decision making

• Analyze historical data and current trends toidentifyrisks and opportunities by department and classification.Communicate risk and propose corrective action

• Complete various support requests from senior leadership and sales leaders which often have short deliverabletimeframes

• Work closely with sales and merchandising teams toestablishclear sales targets aligning to the organizations goals andobjectives

35% Operational Oversight

• Act as the Supply Chain liaison for Sales Planning: Manageproduct allocations as neededoperateas the escalation point person to mitigate service challenges with the supply chain team and troubleshoot item set up issues

• Oversee ad hoc allocation tools and system enhancements to streamline workflow and communication

Must have:

• 5 years in Merchandise Planning Financial Planning or Wholesale Planning

• Strong Excel andanalyticalmodelingexpertise

• Experience building sales forecasts inventory projections and budgets

• Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and present strategic insights

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales SC Merchandising)

• Bachelors Degree
