Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate Restaurant Manager to join our wonderful team at The Library at London Marriott Hotel County Hall.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage department
OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration or related major; 2 years experience in the food and beverage culinary or related professional area.

- Lead inspire and motivate the team through strong communication integrity and role modelling.
- Foster a culture of trust collaboration and high performance across the team.
- Set clear goals priorities and expectations to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Drive team development through coaching mentoring and ongoing training.
- Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies safety standards and legal regulations (including liquor laws).
- Maintain high productivity levels and provide clear leadership direction aligned to business goals.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by exceeding service expectations and acting as a visible hospitality role model.
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure consistent quality service standards and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints effectively implementing continuous service improvements.
- Support people management activities including performance management employee engagement fairness and retention
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide information to supervisors co-workers and subordinates by telephone in written form e-mail or in person.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Assist servers and hosts on the floor during meal periods and high demand times.
- Recognize good quality products and presentations.
- Supervise daily shift operations in absence of Assistant Restaurant Manager.
- Oversee the financial aspects of the department including purchasing and payment of invoices.
