As a Senior Software Engineer you will help define the next generation of creation on the Roblox platform. The Creator team own the Open Cloud platform which underpins all of Robloxs public HTTP APIs. Our platform enables the company to support creator and AI agent automation of tasks like community management CI/CD and in-game economy management.
You Are:
- 3 years of industry experience building Internet-facing backend systems.
- Familiar with using developer-facing HTTP APIs.
- Understand the difference between authentication and authorization.
- Familiar with OAuth2.0 at a conceptual level.
- Comfortable owning projects end to end including involvement in setting product goals.
- Ideally experienced with shipping and maintaining developer-facing APIs.
- Ideally experienced running a developer-facing platform - whether for company-internal developers or a public platform.
You Will:
- Help build the systems that enable product teams at Roblox to expose their APIs authorize access to them publish docs and communicate with users.
- Work across the whole stack to solve problems for Roblox creators.
- Take ownership of projects throughout their full lifecycle from conception to post-shipping monitoring and iteration.
