Software Development Engineer, HST Health Foundation

As a Developer on the team you will be responsible for architecting designing and implementing high-scale global innovative solutions that provide the best mobile experience for our customers.


RESPONSIBILITES:
- Design implementation and deployment of one or more of the following: web services web applications or mobile applications.
- Knowledge in performance scalability enterprise system architecture and engineering best practices.
- Functionally decompose complex problems into simple straight-forward solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams across Amazon on the design and development of core platform functionality.
- Work with the business team and project managers to convert functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Work with engineers to define technical tasks and build detailed implementation plans.
He/she should be able to operate in a very fast paced environment where time to hit market is super critical. They would need to also balance technical leadership with savvy business judgment to make the right decisions about technology choices.




- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3 years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development Release or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
