- Monday Wednesday Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Tuesday Thursday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a single-provider outpatient clinic. This role requires strong clinical and administrative skills with a focus on phlebotomy and point-of-care (POC) testing. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both front-office and back-office medical assistant duties
- Conduct phlebotomy and point-of-care (POC) lab testing
- Perform EKGs and record patient vital signs
- Room patients and assist providers during clinical visits
- Manage patient scheduling and clinic workflow
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and records
- Support onsite medication dispensing and fee collection processes
- Ensure compliance with clinic safety security and operational procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Phlebotomy
- EKG procedures
- Point-of-care (POC) testing
- Patient scheduling and registration
- Rooming patients and taking vitals
- Front and back-office operations
- Active CMA certification required
- Current BLS or CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently and manage patient flow efficiently
Location-Specific Requirements:
- Experience treating:
- Acute patients (ages 2)
- Preventative care patients (ages 12)
- Clinic setting includes:
- Shared building environment
- Dedicated parking and entrance
- Controlled access with secured entry
Work Environment:
- Outpatient single-provider clinic
- Moderate to fast-paced patient flow
- Independent and patient-focused setting
