The Opportunity

We are seeking a warm organisedand experienced full-time Administration / Receptionist to be the face of ourNorwood clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients in personand by phone while supporting our dedicated team of GPs nurses and alliedhealth professionals.

What Youll Do

  • Greet patients and manage check-in/ check-out processes efficiently and warmly
  • Handle a high volume of inboundcalls appointment scheduling and recall management
  • Manage billing including MedicareDVA and private accounts
  • Maintain accurate patient recordsusing Best Practice software
  • Process referrals results andcorrespondence for GPs and allied health providers
  • Liaise with on-site ClinpathPathology and radiology services
  • Assist with opening and closingprocedures and general clinic administration
  • Support the Practice Manager andcolleagues with day-to-day tasks

What Were Looking For

  • Previous medical reception orgeneral practice administration experience highly regarded
  • Confidence with Best Practicesoftware (experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Medicarebilling DVA and HCC concessions
  • Exceptional interpersonal skillsand genuine compassion for patients
  • Ability to multitask calmly in afast-paced environment
  • High accuracy attention todetail and professional discretion
  • Reliable punctual and a trueteam player
  • Fluency in a second language is anadvantage we serve a multicultural community
