Job Summary
The Last Mile Optimization teams primary mission centers on analyzing and designing on-road operational strategies leveraging data-driven insights to enhance delivery efficiency. The Last Mile Optimization Manager serves as a crucial liaison between key stakeholders including delivery station leadership delivery programs finance planning and support teams ensuring seamless communication and alignment on operational objectives. By implementing sophisticated productivity initiatives and establishing clear performance metrics the team drives continuous improvement in on-road execution. This strategic approach enables the delivery network to maintain high service levels while maximizing operational efficiency maintaining a perfect balance between delivery channels and cost-effectiveness across the entire last-mile operation.
Key job responsibilities
1. Managing an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders direct to our customers subject to seek the best efficiency in our On road operations design
2. Collaborate closely with AMZL and DSP teams to ensure the proper balance between network efficiency and partner satisfaction.
3. Works with key business partners such as Planning Fulfillment Experience Finance Business Coach Operations FX Amflex ACES HubDP eDSP and Topology
a change agent who is comfortable pushing on dependencies and gaps to meet previously agreed upon commitments.
5. Define Last Mile Operations model to determinate optimal channel allocation volume
6. On road evaluation projects to guarantee alignment along all the strategies such us Speed Cost SPR DPPH)
7. Focus on Channel Allocation optimization On-road operation projects and On road Operation Optimization
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 3 years of performance metrics process improvement or lean techniques experience
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- 5 years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
- 5 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in supply chain management operations engineering analytics or related field
- Experience hiring and developing highly effective and diverse teams.
