About the role

We are looking for an Industrial Electrical Tradesperson to join our Main Workshop at NZAS supporting maintenance and repair of critical site equipment.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced industrial electrician to apply strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills in a heavy industrial environment while stepping into a more balanced lifestyle-focused way of working.

Reporting to the Superintendent or Supervisor you will:

• Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance across plant and workshop equipment

• Diagnose and repair cranes machinery and industrial electrical systems

• Support contractor work to ensure safe and high-quality outcomes

• Mentor apprentices and support capability within the team

• Deliver reliable high-quality repair work within production timeframes

• Contribute to a strong safety-first and team-oriented culture

About you

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

• Registered Electrician with a current practising licence (or transferable AU qualification)

• Strong background in industrial mining or heavy process environments

• Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic capability

• Experience working with large-scale plant equipment or workshop machinery

• Ability to mentor others and contribute to a high-performing team
