Front Desk Clerk

Job Summary:
Basney BMW Mazda a reputable automotive dealership in South Bend Indiana is seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Cashier. This full-time hourly position requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and handling front desk duties while also assisting with cashier duties as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Maintain a neat and tidy reception area and waiting area ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with various administrative duties as assigned such as; filing and data entry New vehicle inventory entry Document scanning
- Process customer payments and provide receipts as needed
- Coordinate with sales and service departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Maintain cash drawer and accurately balance payments at the end of each shift
- Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and promptly address any customer concerns
- Follow all dealership policies and procedures as well as industry safety standards

Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional appearance and demeanor- Prior customer service experience preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a background check and drug test
