- Day Shift 5x8 Hour Shifts
- Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Position Overview
A leading acute care hospital in Lubbock Texas is seeking an experienced Surgical CVOR Tech for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting cardiovascular thoracic and vascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
- Prepare organize and maintain sterile surgical fields and instrumentation
- Ensure proper handling of surgical equipment and supplies
- Anticipate surgical team needs during procedures and provide instrumentation support
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate effectively with nurses physicians and interdisciplinary OR staff
- Support efficient operating room workflow and accurate procedural documentation
Requirements
- Previous CVOR Tech experience in Cardio Thoracic and Vascular procedures required
- First-time travelers welcome to apply
- Active Surgical Technologist certification/licensure required (as applicable)
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity surgical setting
