SUMMARY: The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate timely and efficient handling of all inbound and outbound materials. This role requires strong leadership attention to detail and the ability to maintain communication across teams while ensuring compliance with company processes and safety standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage daily shipping and receiving operations o Oversee loading and unloading of trucks. o Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing materials. o Maintain all related documentation. o Ensure accuracy of packing lists BOLs and freight paperwork. Coordinate with Production on shipment scheduling o Communicate daily shipment needs. o Prioritize orders based on production and customer requirements. o Ensure orders are staged and prepared on time. Maintain inventory movement accuracy o Process material receipts and shipments in Odyssey. o Track discrepancies and resolve inventory issues. o Support cycle counts and annual inventory audits. Work with vendors and carriers o Schedule pickups and deliveries. o Resolve freight issues and discrepancies. o Review freight costs and coordinate improvements. Coordinate with Quality on incoming and outgoing material o Support inspection requirements. o Process and track RMAs. o Provide part and material history as needed. Supervise Shipping/Receiving staff o Train team members on procedures and safety. o Assign daily tasks and monitor performance. o Maintain a safe and organized work environment. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain clean and organized shipping and receiving areas. Assist with workflow and process improvement initiatives. Coordinate with division managers on priority shipments. Communicate delivery and pickup updates to internal teams. Support logistics planning during peak volume. Increase product and technical knowledge. Odyssey Training. Develop and maintain shipping/receiving process documentation. QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree preferred. Minimum of two years shipping/receiving or warehouse supervisory experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills. Strong computer skills including MS Office and ERP systems. Strong attention to detail. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
