Renewable Energy Project Engineer

• Technical Design & Optimization: Oversee multi-disciplinary engineering plans (Civil Electrical Structural) with a focus on maximizing system yield and minimizing LCOE.
• Grid Integration: Lead the technical interconnection process managing relationships with utilities and ensuring compliance with evolving grid codes.
• EPC Coordination: Act as the primary technical point of contact for EPC contractors conducting design reviews and ensuring QA/QC standards are met on-site.
• Technology Integration: Implement advanced solutions including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) SCADA platforms and performance-monitoring Digital Twins.
• Permitting & Compliance: Support the project development team in securing technical permits and meeting environmental and ESG regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

• Degree in engineering renewable energy or related field.
• Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in renewable energy project management.
• In-depth technical knowledge of solar wind and energy storage systems.
• Excellent project management and team coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to Italy on business (12 weeks per month)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian/Polish. 
• Advanced IT skills in MS Excel PowerPoint. PowerBI is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Expertise in renewable energy (solar wind storage).
• Feasibility analysis and profitability study.
