Senior Cloud Engineer GCP (fmn)

About the role

Were building a Cloud Center of Excellence that owns the cloud foundation for the entire engineering organization. Youll design the architecture automation and governance that other teams build on - not just deploy workloads but define how workloads get deployed.

If you think about infrastructure as a product and want real ownership over cloud strategy this is that role.

What Youll do:

• Design and implement a cloud-native platform architecture on GCP
• Build scalable guardrails for multi-team multi-environment setups with compliance requirements
• Create reusable infrastructure that enables self-service provisioning
• Define cloud governance: IAM strategies organizational policies policy-as-code
• Write design documents and represent technical divisions in cross-team and leadership forums

Qualifications :

What were looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP 
• Production Kubernetes experience - networking security tenancy lifecycle management
• Terraform at the module-authoring level not just the consumer level
• Solid networking fundamentals: VPC design CIDR planning DNS hybrid connectivity
• Experience working in compliance-driven environments (SOC2 PCI-DSS or similar)
• GitOps methodology and tooling
• Observability stack experience (metrics structured logging tracing)
• Clear technical communication - you can write a design doc and defend it
