Description

UE02: 24547.00 per annum pro rata (based on a 35 hour work week).

CMVM / Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies.

Full Time 35 Hours per week with an additional 2.5 hours per week of contractual overtime paid in addition to salary (totalling 37.5 hours/week).

Shifts time 1.30pm-10pm with one hour lunch (shift times TBC with successful candidate).

Open ended contract Permanent.

Technical Clinical Services

The role:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Clinical Cleaner to join our hospital team. This post plays a vital role in maintaining a safe clean and hygienic clinical environment.

Working within a busy referral hospital setting the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering highquality cleaning across clinical and nonclinical areas ensuring standards are consistently met in line with infection control policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine and deep cleaning of clinical areas including wards treatment rooms isolation areas and shared spaces
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures to minimise the risk of crosscontamination and hospitalacquired infections
  • Clean and maintain equipment and hightouch surfaces to a high standard
  • Respond flexibly to urgent cleaning requirements as clinical activity fluctuates
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with COSHH guidance
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and nonclinical staff to support safe hospital operations
  • Maintain accurate cleaning records where required
