Job Summary
Manufacturing / Metal Fabrication
This company is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing and engineering operations in a metal fabrication environment. This role is responsible for improving production processes supporting quality assurance activities and leading technical projects in collaboration with production teams and headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production line planning and process improvement initiatives
- Support manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues
- Coordinate with Production QA and Headquarters Engineering teams
- Support new product launches and customer projects
- Assist with quality assurance activities and customer issue resolution
- Train and develop production staff on technical processes
- Analyze production and QA data to improve efficiency and product quality
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred
- 8 years of manufacturing experience including 3 years in a supervisory role
- Experience with ISO 9001 / 14001 procedures
- Knowledge of testing and measuring tools used in metal fabrication
- Strong Excel project management and leadership skills
- Ability to coach teams and solve technical problems in a fast-paced environment
