Job Summary
The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating a manual (non-programmed) industrial sewing machine to assemble nylon components according to specifications. This role requires precision attention to detail and the ability to follow measurements accurately.
Pay Rate:$14.00 hourly
Schedule:Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location:Near Frost Bank Center
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a manual industrial sewing machine to sew nylon materials
- Follow work instructions patterns and production guidelines
- Measure and cut materials using rulers and measuring tools
- Ensure stitch quality and product consistency
- Inspect finished products for defects or inaccuracies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Ability to perform basic math including fractions and measurements
- Must be able to pass background and drug screen
- Proficient in reading and using a ruler accurately
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Previous sewing or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
