$31.46 - $48.76 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidates expertise and years of experience among other factors.Position Highlights:

Position: Radiologic Technologist III - Days
Location: Northwest Community Hospital Arlington Heights IL
Full Time - 40 hours/week
Hours: 11:30am-8pm Weekdays Weekends 7-3:30pm
On call requirements and rotating holidays
Required Travel: No
What you will do: Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists in accordance with established protocols. Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining images and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems. Explains procedure to patients giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. Works in surgery as assigned. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.
What you will need:
Education: High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associates Degree or higher preferred.
License: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
Certifications: ARRT - Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
BLS certification (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Experience: 1 Year prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment required. Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations.
