Architecture Designer III

AECOM Technical Services Inc. is seeking an Architecture Designer III in Boston MA.

Job Details:

• Prepare designs drawings renderings presentations specifications reports and related materials for a variety of building types
• Perform architectural calculations for spatial design and programming
• Prepare review and approve drawings as required
• Understand and apply codes materials scale architectural themes metrics and construction standards
• Produce 3D models from schematic design through construction documents using multiple drafting platforms
• Utilize physical and digital media including hand sketches 3D modeling and spoken and written narratives to explore design feasibility and articulate design vision
• Organize and coordinate with small teams which may include outside consultants to complete work tasks on schedule
• Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design personnel
• 5% domestic travel required

Qualifications :

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Architecture Architectural Design or a related field of study and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 

Alternatively the employer will accept a Masters degree in Architecture Architectural Design or a related field of study and 2 years of experience.

Position requires experience in the following:

1. Revit
2. Autocad
3. Adobe Suite including Illustrator InDesign and Photoshop
4. Microsoft Suite including Excel Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
5. 3D modeling skills in SketchUp Lumion or Rhinoceros
6. Ability to become a licensed architect within 6 months of hire
7. Aviation design
