Job Summary

Wellesley Middle Schoolsdrama program is looking for a Choreographer for the 2026-2027 School Year. The Fall 2026 musical will be The Spongebob Squarepants Musical: Youth Edition and the Winter Musical will be Beauty and the Beast Jr. Possibility to do one show or both shows. Expectation per show include:

Work with the Director and Musical Director to execute a unified vision of the show
Attending two days of auditions and one day of callbacks to cast the show
Lead rehearsal 1-2 times per week
Create resources for home practice to help students remember and prepare choreography
Attend all tech week rehearsals (Commitment: 6 rehearsal days including 1 Saturday)
Attend all performances (3 performances including one two-show day)

Stipend amount listed is paid per production (Fall/Winter).
