Job Summary
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing the companys Drug and Alcohol Testing Program contractor and supplier management systems (including ISN Avetta ComplyWorks and similar platforms) and the Pipeline Operator Qualification (OQ) Program to ensure compliance with internal policies regulatory requirements and client standards.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Oversee the administration of the companys Drug and Alcohol (D&A) Testing Program including program controls service coordination and compliance oversight.
- Maintain clientârequired Drug and Alcohol consortium enrollments ensuring all participation requirements documentation and reporting obligations are current and compliant.
- Liaise with Drug and Alcohol testing service providers (including laboratories collection sites Medical Review Officers and Substance Abuse Professionals) to support timely and compliant testing activities.
- Receive review and interpret Drug and Alcohol test results in accordance with regulatory and company requirements ensuring appropriate followâup actions are taken.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all Drug and Alcohol testing activities and results ensuring proper recordkeeping retention and audit readiness.
- Assist in educating employees and management on the Drug and Alcohol Testing Program including roles responsibilities and compliance expectations.
- Ensure the Drug and Alcohol Testing Program complies with applicable regulatory requirements including those of the Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and applicable client standards.
- Serve as the system owner for thirdâparty compliance and contractor management platforms (including ISN Avetta ComplyWorks and clientâspecified portals) ensuring profiles documentation and workflows remain accurate and current.
- Coordinate directly with internal stakeholders clients and platform administrators to resolve compliance gaps respond to nonconformances and troubleshoot system issues affecting contractor approval or site access.
- Monitor client scorecards contractor grades and performance metrics within contractor management systems to help maintain approved contractor status.
- Monitor platform requirements client rule changes and regulatory updates translating new or revised requirements into actionable compliance tasks and ensuring timely implementation across all applicable contractor profiles.
- Provide reporting status updates and compliance metrics to management and clients including tracking open actions approval status and trends related to contractor qualification audit findings and prequalification performance.
- Collaborate with business development and operations teams to support new client onboarding and ensure compliance requirements are met prior to work commencement.
- Review and update client specific Safety RAVS to ensure procedures remain current and compliant while collaborating with the MISTRAS Document Controller and Safety Department to revise policies procedures and supporting documentation as needed.
- Monitor Site Tracker and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure client specific HSE statistics employee hours and compliance data are accurately maintained and updated within contractor management systems.
- Coordinate the setup and maintenance of technician user accounts within contractor management and compliance platforms while working closely with Operations to assign monitor and track completion of client-required training certifications and onboarding requirements.
- Manage the Pipeline Operator Qualification (OQ) Program in accordance with DOT state and client requirements including tracking qualifications maintaining records and supporting audits or client reviews.
- Assist in the completion and submission of client prequalification packages to ensure all required compliance safety and regulatory documentation is accurate complete and current.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams contractors suppliers clients and external service providers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities work under pressure and meet deadlines in a complianceâdriven environment.
- Experience administering contractor and supplier management systems including ISN Avetta ComplyWorks and similar client prequalification platforms.
- Experience with drug and alcohol and background screening systems such as DISA ASAP HASC or equivalent programs.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience managing Drug and Alcohol programs and contractor/supplier compliance management systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also exercising sound judgment and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Required to adhere to all Mistras compliance ethics and governance requirements.
