A Brief Overview
Provides support to Clinic Operations by maintaining physician income distribution formula spreadsheets and calculating thresholds. Provides advice and recommendations on physician contract terms offers and amendment language. Responsible for providing reliable practice management information to Avera Medical Group administration. Responsible for supporting Avera Medical Group administration as they collaborate with providers partners and site managers. Responsible for providing a high level of expertise in the areas of 3rd party reimbursement for physician services clinic business planning and analysis of physician production results. Also assists in the budget process and reporting.
What you will do
- Develops and maintains Income Distribution Formula (IDF) spreadsheets utilizing Microsoft Excel for clinic network providers including calculation of compensation/production thresholds. Formalizes contract terms into IDF spreadsheets.
- Ensures data integrity of production data for entry into IDF spreadsheets. Verifies completeness and accuracy of data.
- Responsible to ensure physician IDF payments are made in accordance with contract terms.
- Advises physician recruitment department and practice administrators on physician contract terms and amendment language. Provides recommendations on contract language and provider offers.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure compensation models are competitive cost effective drive and reward a high-performance culture and are aligned with Averas current and future strategic direction.
- Creates and distributes personnel action forms (PAFs) by calculating new base compensation/thresholds PAFs bonus PAFs ER compensation and shift PAFs.
- Consults and supports administration in key product line and clinic planning. Compiles data and statistical information: develops reports and special projects as delegated by the leadership. Analyzes and interprets the data and statistical information for practice administrators.
- Directly supports Chief Administrative officer (CAO) of AMG and practice administrators. Assures that CAO and practice administrators have concise practice management information in a timely fashion. The representative is accountable for assuring that the information appropriately matches the current business management needs.
- Responsible for maintaining expert knowledge on assigned clinics within AMG and maintaining a working knowledge of all medical specialties. Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of all flows processes and policies within AMGs practice management. Provides a high degree of knowledge in the areas of medical economics national clinic productivity trends and reimbursement.
- Calculates program break-even levels and provides capital project payback analysis upon request. Advises practice administrators and leadership on financial viability of projects and provide recommendations.

Required Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
