Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a high-acuity Adult Operating Room team in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive acute care OR experience and strong skills across multiple surgical specialties.
This role requires a confident surgical technologist who can function independently with minimal orientation in a fast-paced teaching hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures
- Scrub and assist during a variety of surgical cases
- Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
- Anticipate surgeon and procedural team needs during surgery
- Ensure surgical equipment and supplies are properly prepared and available
- Collaborate with surgeons nurses anesthesia providers and OR staff
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience within the last 4 years
- Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center or comparable teaching hospital
- Strong scrub experience required
- Experience with:

- ENT
- Vascular Surgery
- GYN
- Neurosurgery
- Bariatric Surgery
- GU Procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
