About the role

As a Weighbridge Operator at the Blackwater Waste Facility your primary responsibilities include:

• Operating the weighbridge system (Mandalay) to log waste transactions accurately
• Weighing incoming and outgoing waste vehicles and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Handling cash and processing EFT transactions
• Providing exceptional customer service assisting customers with waste disposal and recycling inquiries
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting of waste transactions
• Maintaining site safety and ensuring compliance with environmental and operational procedures
• General onsite duties

What were looking for

• Basic computer skills (mandatory) and experience using weighbridge systems (desirable)
• Forklift licence desirable
• Loader tickets desirable
• MR drivers licence desirable
• Friendly personality with excellent customer service and communication skills
• A commitment to safety teamwork and following operational procedures
• Experience in waste management transport or logistics is desirable
