At a glance:

As an Electrical Service Technician based inHeathwood Brisbane you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting a highly automated warehouse and distribution facility for one of our major customers. Working within a skilled on-site service team you will contribute to safe reliable operations while developing your technical expertise in advanced automation technology.

This position operates on a12-hour rotating roster (5 days/nights on 5 days/nights off) offering strong work-life balance and exposure to cutting-edge systems in a unique food-grade environment.

Your Impact:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automated electrical control and mechanical systems

• Diagnose and resolve faults on live equipment with minimal impact to customer operations

• Support installation modification repair and optimisation of site automation equipment

• Work closely with the Shift Lead to ensure safe execution of daily operational tasks

• Use system data and analytics to improve performance and reliability

• Provide technical support to customers suppliers and international colleagues

• Operate in compliance with strict safety hygiene and food-grade standards

What makes you a great fit

• Electrical Mechanic Licence (or eligibility to obtain one)

• Trade qualification and/or proven experience as a Service Technician (desirable)

• Strong electrical aptitude with exposure to PLCs automation or control systems Comfortable working rotating 12-hour shifts including nights weekends and public holidays

• Reliable safety-focused and motivated to continually develop technical skills
