Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:
Hog Slat Inc. the worlds leading provider of parts equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking anAssemblerwith excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at ourClinton NCManufacturing location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.

Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
Fastens parts together with bolts screws speed clips rivets or other fasteners.
Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
Operates drill presses pneumatic and hard tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations
Adhere to all safety procedures

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis
