Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Soldering & Assembly
  Perform fine-pitch soldering and assembly of small mechanical and electronic components using microscopes and magnification tools ensuring precise alignment and high-quality workmanship.
• Technical Interpretation
  Read and interpret engineering drawings schematics and detailed work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and compliance with specifications.
• Quality Inspection & Control
  Inspect completed assemblies for defects dimensional accuracy and functionality using precision measurement tools and visual inspection techniques.
• Tool & Equipment Operation
  Utilize specialized hand tools fixtures and equipment designed for small-part assembly and high-precision work.
• Cleanroom & Workspace Standards
  Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment in accordance with 5S and cleanroom protocols.
• Continuous Improvement
  Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency improve quality and reduce waste.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in precision soldering micro-assembly or electronics repair
• Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling delicate small components
• Ability to work effectively under a microscope or magnification tools for extended periods
• Experience reading and interpreting technical blueprints schematics and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality defect-free work
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection processes

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing repetitive detail-oriented tasks
• High level of visual acuity including prolonged microscope use
• Steady hands and fine motor control for precision work

Minimum Qualifications
