Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a retail location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location including sales floor areas entrances exits parking areas and perimeter zones noting unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.
• Monitor access points observe customer and employee activity and report policy violations suspicious behavior and/or potential hazards to the appropriate contacts.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence assisting with incident response and completing detailed reports related to security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 years of combined law enforcement corrections or military experience or 5 years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
