Job Description:
Summary:
Month 1:
Initial cycle counts
Identify missing descriptions and incorrect quantities
Begin organizing shelves and labeling
Months 2 3:
Full system cleanup
Add/update all part descriptions
Process excess parts and return them to inventory
Months 4 5:
Deep cycle counts and corrections
Finalize organization of all shelves and storage areas
Month 6:
Final audit preparation
Confirm accuracy of all inventory records
Document completed improvements for handoff
Responsibilities:

Update Inventory System - Enter missing parts update descriptions correct quantities and ensure all part data is complete and accurate.

Parts Room Organization - Reorganize shelves label parts and maintain a clean efficient storage layout.

Process Excess Parts - Identify excess or misplaced parts located outside the parts room and determine what should be returned to inventory.

Shelving & Stocking - Place excess or newly identified parts onto the correct shelves following company standards.

Documentation Cleanup - Over the 6 month period ensure all part descriptions categories and locations are fully updated and standardized.

Support Inventory Audit - Assist with mid assignment and end of assignment inventory checks to confirm improvements.

Assist Staff - Help technicians and team members locate parts and answer questions about availability.
Requirement:

1-4 years of experience in a similar type of role.

Ability to work with limited supervision.
-
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft basic PC programs.
-
Experience with parts inventory procedures.
-
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
