Full-time Solar and Battery Electrician: Better Volt Solar Batteries

Better Volt has been installing solar systems for many years and we pride ourselves on quality products and workmanship great client outcomes and a genuinely positive work culture.

We are based in the small town of Dorrigo one of the most stunning climates in Australia thats a 1 hour drive to the coast (near Coffs Harbour)

With world renowned temperate rainforests shops a preschool 2 primary schools and a high school great sports facilities and a true small town community youll never want to leave.

The business owner has over 15 years expertise designing high quality On and Off grid systems. Even before the rebates started we were busy so we are looking for a qualified electrician to head up a small installation crew with an apprentice or trades assistant.

Our new electrician will have an honest demeanor and a positive attitude. They will be organised and communicate proactively with the team looking for solutions to challenges and keeping the work flowing while they create a lifestyle thats the envy of city dwellers.

Key responsibilities:

• Installation of solar PV and battery systems for residential and small commercial projects.
• Upgrading pre-existing solar PV systems.
• Fault finding / diagnosis of solar PV system issues and implementing solutions.
• Maintaining job files with orderly compliance documentation.

Essential Criteria:

• NSW Electrician Licence
• Drivers Licence
• Working at Heights ticket
• Computer literate and organised
• Be physically fit willing to learn self-motivated and hard working

Strongly desirable Criteria:

• Solar Accreditation Australia qualifications:
• Grid Connected Photovoltaic Systems
• Grid Connected Battery Systems

Desirable Criteria:

• Solar Accreditation Australia qualifications:
• Stand Alone Power Systems
• Forklift Licence
