Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
Support PMs across multiple VM programs
Lead portfolio management processes and status visibility
Identify cost drivers trends and variances; communicate insights to leadership
Proactively assess portfolio risks and opportunities
Financial Management
Partner with BA/Finance lead
Support forecasting tracking variance analysis cost reporting
Prepare materials for Operational Command Center and financial reviews
Change Control
Manage change control processes and documentation
Coordinate unit/funding shifts across programs
Ensure governance approvals
Operational Support
Build strong relationships with Operations teams
Participate in weekly/monthly operational reviews
Understand field operations to connect PMO finance and ops drivers
Executive & Operational Reporting
Prepare catch-back plans and WMP deliverables
Coordinate inputs across PMs finance and leadership
Process Improvement
Advance PMO process maturity
Maintain documentation libraries SharePoint RACI and standardized workflows
Qualifications
Required
Extensive program/project management experience
Strong financial and forecasting skills
Portfolio oversight experience
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management
Risk identification/mitigation capability
Strong organizational and process discipline
Preferred
PG&E or VM experience
Experience with operational reviews and executive reporting
PMO process development background
Logistics
In-office Tuesdays in Oakland; occasional Dublin visits
Some travel to operational sites

Fast-paced evolving environment. Strong financial acumen communication and relationship-building are essential. Program management strength is prioritized over VM-specific experience.

Benefits & Salary:
- This position pays between $110000- $140000 annually depending on education and experience level and is an exempt position. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors such as internal equity professional skills work experience and pertinent education or training.
- Benefits offered include company sponsored medical dental vision and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement voluntary life disability critical illness accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
- Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
- May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
