Description of Job

Integrated Document Solutions (IDS) is a full-service end-to-end document management operation. IDS advises assists and supports each agencys needs providing a wide variety of cost-efficient document solutions at a professional level.

This position strategically aligns IDS service offerings with the needs of the customer base. This includes formulating a deep understanding of the customer initiatives and how IDS services will be applied to their specific needs. The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships while overseeing the successful delivery of products and services. Acting as the primary point of contact the Account Manager ensures client satisfaction drives account growth and coordinates with internal teams to meet business objectives.

A summary of the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:


Client Relationship Management and Account Oversight:
  • Manage day-to-day client accounts ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Production Variable Data Design and Operations) to ensure smooth execution.
  • Develop proposals quotes and presentations for client review.
  • Monitor account performance and proactively suggest improvements or new opportunities. This includes developing print/mail specifications analyzing cost effectiveness conducting bid requirements and ensuring the jobs are delivered timely and accurately.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Understand client business goals challenges and needs to provide tailored solutions.
  • Communicate project updates address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Business Growth and Reporting:
  • Support contract renewals and negotiations to ensure continued client engagement.
  • Contribute to growth targets by expanding account value.
  • Track and report on account billing.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to clients based on data and trends.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and account management systems.
Vendor Interaction:
  • Address issues and provide recommendations to vendors regarding paper stock design layout and finishing requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Account Manager Team Lead on vendor outsourcing recommendations and cost.

Hybrid Work: The initial phase will consist of two months of in-person training. Following the completion of this training the role will transition to a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week in the office.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience Only:

At least six (6) years of relevant experience in client relationship management as it relates to the production business and business growth related to the work assigned to this position

OR

Education and Experience:

A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in client relationship management as it relates to the production business and business growth an occupation related to the work assigned equal to at least six (6) years


Theexceptional candidatewill possess the proven ability or accomplishment in the following preferred qualifications:


  • Previous State Service related to the work assigned to the position

  • History of customer/client development building strong relationships with your accounts using exceptional customer service skill set.
  • Experience with United States Postal Service regulations with a detailed understanding of transactional printing
  • Strong understanding of the print work processing life-cycle from order acquisition estimating proofing pre-press production delivery and follow-up.
  • Ability to conceptualize the customer job requirements asking the correct and complete questions prior to job acceptance.
  • Able to analyze the assigned customer base and forecast potential work and volume fluctuations as well as future needs.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Working understanding of Microsoft tools like MS Word and Excel
  • Familiar with working in a Customer Relationship Management system as well as Print MIS.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a team structured deadline driven environment.

  • Ability to multi-task with high attention to details


Conditions of Employment:
