About the Role
The Senior Project Officer Period Product Program (PPP) is a pivotal role within NACCHOs newly formed Immunisation & Period Product team. This multiyear national initiative aims to improve access to safe and suitable menstrual products build capacity and support education across rural and remote Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations.
This is an innovative and creative opportunity to build and shape a new national womens health program. The role will lead highlevel project management operational coordination logisticsand stakeholder engagement across the programs development distribution andevaluation phases.
Regular national travel will be required to connect with ACCHOs partners and stakeholders across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish manage and coordinate the national Period Product Program ensuring smooth rollout and delivery.
- Lead operations and logistics including supplier management contractor liaison website ordering and distribution planning.
- Oversee order and inventory management via a thirdparty logistics provider (3PL).
- Work collaboratively with ACCHOs Affiliates governments peak bodies and internal teams to support program objectives.
- Prepare program reports briefs papers and presentations meeting all reporting deadlines.
- Contribute to monitoring evaluation and continuous quality improvement processes.
- Support development and delivery of capacity building and education components.
- Work closely with the team to drive enthusiastic and highquality implementation of the program.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications (e.g. Cert IV).
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Strong background in health or public health program management.
- Experience in procurement contract management operations or logistics.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication problemsolving skills and proficiency in MS Office.
