Retail Business Analyst (Senior)

Position Description:

Sr BA / Functional Consultant Retail & E-commerce

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in Retail and E-Commerce domain to join our team. This position will focus on collaborating with Client and development team for various initiatives across Marketing E-Commerce Core Retail Supply Chain and various Merchandising applications

-Work closely with business users to understand refine and document functional requirements process gaps and enhancement needs
-Support AMS and AD initiatives across E-commerce Core Retail Supply Chain MDM/PIM and Merchandising Applications
-Provide strong understanding of core retail processes such as merchandising pricing promotions inventory replenishment order management store operations and e-commerce fulfilments
-Act as the bridge between business delivery and technology teams for incidents change requests and project enhancements
-Prepare and manage BRD/FRD user stories process flows functional specifications and test scenarios
-Support production issues functional analysis defect triage UAT and release validation across AMS engagements
-Bring experience in Oracle Retail modules / retail platforms MDM concepts and integration touchpoints with upstream/downstream systems
-Expected to have strong stakeholder communication retail domain knowledge and ability to work in KTLO enhancement project delivery environments
-Contribute to peak sales and trading event support by helping validate business readiness monitor critical flows and support rapid issue resolution during high-volume periods
-Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail with strong stakeholder management and exposure across support enhancements and project delivery

Must-Have Skills
810 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant
Strong experience in Retail / Wholesale domain
Deep understanding of end-to-end retail processes
Hands-on experience in requirement documentation (BRD FRD user stories)
Experience in AMS support project delivery environments
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience in UAT defect management and release support
Knowledge of MDM/PIM concepts and retail data flows
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with Oracle Retail modules or similar retail platforms
Exposure to eCommerce platforms and digital commerce flows
Understanding of system integrations (ERP POS Supply Chain systems)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Basic knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools
Experience working in large enterprise retail transformations

o 8-10 Years of experience as a Business Analyst.
o Extensive experience in the Retail and Wholesale industry with a deep understanding of retail operations and customer engagement.

. Education:
o Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
