WhatYoullDo

45% -Planning & Negotiation

  • Develop and present strategically focused plans and recommendations in collaboration with OOH Supervisor/Associate Director

  • Write department POVs on new opportunities and seeknew trendsand opportunities within the industry

  • Stewardship of OOH media plans frominceptionthrough completion including:

  • Issuing RFPs to allappropriate vendors

  • NegotiatingOOH media buys

  • Providingback-up research data in support of OOH recommendations

  • Providingunit maps in support of recommendation

  • WorkingwithBusiness SolutionsTeam to ensure plans are on strategy and meet client objectives

  • Overseeingposting of media to campaign is executed accurately andin a timely manner

  • Overseeingtraffic and production process to ensure proper approvals are received and creative/materials are delivered to vendors on time

  • Participate in potential market rides when available

15% -Account Maintenance

  • Cross check plans and all supporting documents for accuracy (billing specs contracts etc.)

  • Keep team updated on the status and timing of deliverables

  • Ensureclientdocuments(decks POP & POVs)are clear concise and client ready

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of account/client nuances

10% -Relationship Development

  • Manageinternal and externalrelationships;maintainand strengthen communication across Business Solutions team and vendors

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of available vendors and media formats in markets relevant to assigned client(s)

  • Attend vendor meetings and presentationsparticipateas an active stakeholder on behalf of your clients

  • Guide junior team members through planning process andassistwith day-to-day account maintenance if needed

  • Manage ongoing communication with senior leads effectively relay issues and/or status updates ina timelymatter

10% -Training & Development

  • Stay up to date on the OOH space and trendsmaintainfamiliarity with vendor updates and offerings

  • Continue to advanceknowledge and learn about the media industry Horizon Media and our clients

  • Participate in Horizons training programs as well as other syndicated and proprietary training sessions (i.e.Leaders Voice Business Writing Presentation Skills and more)

10% -Strategy

  • Participate in strategy development and brainstorming meetings withBusiness Solutionsteam

  • Collaborate with OOH vendors to bring innovative engaging and creative ideas to clients

  • EducateBusinessSolutions on status processes and new developments in the OOH space

10% -Supervision & Mentorship

  • Overseethe contracting process for approved media buys to ensure adherence to process

  • OverseeAssistant Strategists follow-up in collecting signed ATBs counter-signed contracts

  • Guide team in setting goals projecttasksand timelines

  • Provide education on best practices media principles and industry at large

  • Participate in interview process for Assistant/Planner roles

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • BA/BS Degreeorrelevantworkexperience

  • 2-3 years media planningandbuying experience

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Understanding of media planning terms and concepts such as GRPs ROIreachand frequency

  • Understanding ofGeopathmeasurementmethodologyas well as various other available media research tools and studies available

  • Proficiencyworking within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Salary Range

$66300.00 - $80000.00

A successful applicants actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individuals skill sets experience training education licensure/certifications and qualifications for the role. As an organization we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
