Job Summary
A leading healthcare facility in New York City is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / Radiographer for a 14-week temp-to-hire opportunity within its Diagnostic Imaging Department.
The ideal candidate will perform high-quality general radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety imaging accuracy and compassionate patient care. This role supports physician-directed diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment and requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and adherence to radiologic safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform general radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and clearly explain exam processes
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Follow radiation safety infection prevention and departmental protocols at all times
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
- Maintain cleanliness organization and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment
- Support daily departmental workflow and imaging operations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of General Radiographer experience required
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program or equivalent military training required
- Current ARRT Certification and Registration required
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong patient care skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- BLS Certification preferred
- Previous hospital-based radiology experience preferred
- Experience working with diverse patient populations preferred
- Strong understanding of radiographic safety standards and imaging protocols preferred
