Job Summary
Position Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Atlanta GA
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: Friday Sunday 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic radiology services in a high-volume hospital imaging department supporting OR fluoroscopy emergency department and portable X-ray procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Requirements:
- Active ARRT certification required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years recent Diagnostic Radiology experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Strong OR fluoroscopy portable ED and general X-ray experience required
- Ability to work in a busy high-acuity radiology department
- No local candidates within 50 miles
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging including X-ray fluoroscopy OR ED and portable studies
- Assist in surgical and operating room imaging procedures
- Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging quality
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely
- Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital imaging standards
- Document procedures accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams
- Respond to urgent and emergency imaging needs
- Maintain workflow efficiency in a high-volume department
