Laboratory and Compliance Technician
Pennichuck Corporation New Hampshire
Pennichuck Corporation is seeking a Laboratory and Compliance Technician to support water quality testing and regulatory compliance across our service areas. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe reliable drinking water for communities throughout southern and central New Hampshire.
What Youll Do
- Collect prepare and analyze water samples in support of state and federal compliance
- Perform in-house laboratory testing (e.g. Coliform/E. coli metals pH hardness)
- Coordinate with external laboratories and manage chain-of-custody documentation
- Monitor state sampling schedules and treatment system performance (PFAS arsenic iron manganese etc.)
- Support the EPA Cyanobacteria Monitoring Program
- Maintain data and reporting in LIMS and prepare regulatory submissions
- Assist with investigations of unusual results or Tentatively Identifiable Compounds (TICs)
Qualifications
Technician I
- 13 years of laboratory or compliance experience
- Familiarity with drinking water testing regulations
- Applied science background; basic understanding of water systems
Technician II
- 37 years of laboratory or compliance experience
- Strong working knowledge of drinking water regulations
- Applied science background; solid understanding of water systems
NEWWA and/or EPA cyanobacteria training preferred for both levels.
